Tafsir of Surah Hud 11:49
﴿تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَا إِلَيْكَ مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَا أَنتَ وَلَا قَوْمُكَ مِن قَبْلِ هَٰذَا فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ الْعَاقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muḥammad]. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous.

ولكن المقصود هنا ذكر بعض ما في القرآن من أنه كان يخبرهم بالأمور الماضية خبرا مفصلا لا يعلمه أحد إلا أن يكون نبيا، أو من أخبره نبي وقومه يعلمون أنه لم يخبره بذلك أحد من البشر، وهذا مما قامت به الحجة عليهم«الجواب الصحيح لمن بدل دين المسيح» 1/403
