Tafsir of Surah Hud 11:98
﴿يَقْدُمُ قَوْمَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَأَوْرَدَهُمُ النَّارَ وَبِئْسَ الْوِرْدُ الْمَوْرُودُ﴾
Translation of the meaning
He will precede his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire; and wretched is the place to which they are led.

فأخبر أنه يقدم قومه ولم يقل يسوقهم وأنه أوردهم النار. ومعلوم أن المتقدم إذا أورد المتأخرين النار: كان هو أول من يردها وإلا لم يكن قادما؛ بل كان سائقا؛«مجموع الفتاوى» 2/283Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
فإنه هو الذى استخفهم فأطاعوه، وغرهم فاتبعوه. ولهذا يكون يوم القيامة إمامهم وفرطهم فى هذا الورد، قال تعالى: {يقدم قومه يوم القيامة فأوردهم النار} [هود: 98] .«طريق الهجرتين وباب السعادتين» 1/409
