Tafsir of Surah Al-Baqara 2:129
﴿رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ﴾
Translation of the meaning
Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

فإن التلاوة هي تبليغ كلامه تعالى إليهم وهذا لا بد منه لكل مؤمن وتزكيتهم هو جعل أنفسهم زكية بالعمل الصالح الناشئ عن الآيات التي سمعوها وتليت عليهم فالأول سمعهم والثاني طاعتهم والمؤمنون يقولون سمعنا وأطعنا.«مجموع الفتاوى» 15/389
