Tafsir of Surah Al-Baqara 2:131
﴿إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ أَسْلِمْ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
When his Lord said to him, "Submit," he said, "I have submitted [in Islām] to the Lord of the worlds."

فالإسلام يتضمن الاستسلام لله وحده؛ فمن استسلم له ولغيره كان مشركا ومن لم يستسلم له كان مستكبرا عن عبادته والمشرك به والمستكبر عن عبادته كافر والاستسلام له وحده يتضمن عبادته وحده وطاعته وحده.«مجموع الفتاوى» 3/91
