Tafsir of Surah Al-Baqara 2:92
﴿وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [in worship] after that, while you were wrongdoers.

فأجيبوا على تقدير هذا الجواب الباطل منهم بأن موسى قد جاءكم بالبينات وما لا ريب في صحة نبوته ثم عبدتم بعد غيبته عنكم وأشركتم بالله وكفرتم به وقد علمتم نبوة موسى وقيام البراهين على صدقة«بدائع الفوائد» 4/149
