Tafsir of Surah Taa-Haa 20:127
﴿وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِن بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring.

وبيان ذلك: أن الشخص إما أن يبين له أن ما بعث الله به رسوله حق ويعدل عن ذلك إلى اتباع هواه أو يحسب أن ما هو عليه من ترك ذلك هو الحق فهذا متبع للظن والأول متبع لهواه.«مجموع الفتاوى» 4/199
