Tafsir of Surah Al-Furqaan 25:28
﴿يَا وَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا﴾

Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.

وهذا شأن كل مشتركين في غرض، يتوادون ما داموا متساعدين على حصوله، فإذا انقطع ذلك الغرض، أعقب ندامة وحزنا وألما، وانقلبت تلك المودة بغضا ولعنة، وذما من بعضهم لبعض«مدارج السالكين بين منازل إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين» 1/453
