Tafsir of Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:101
﴿وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُ وَمَن يَعْتَصِم بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allāh and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allāh has [indeed] been guided to a straight path.

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
فإنه لو اعتصم بالله لما خرج عن هداية الطاعة، قال الله تعالى {ومن يعتصم بالله فقد هدي إلى صراط مستقيم} [آل عمران: 101] فلو كملت عصمته بالله لم يخذله أبدا،«مدارج السالكين بين منازل إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين» 1/198
