Tafsir of Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:133
﴿وَسَارِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden [i.e., Paradise] as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
فأخبر أنه أعد الجنة للمتقين دون غيرهم«حادي الأرواح إلى بلاد الأفراح» 1/119ومما يدل على هذا أنه سبحانه أمر بالمسابقة فى أعمال البر والتنافس فيها والمبادرة إليها، وهذا ضد الإيثار بها.«طريق الهجرتين وباب السعادتين» 1/299
