Tafsir of Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:3
﴿نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنجِيلَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
He has sent down upon you, [O Muḥammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel

وهو أن الإنجيل من وجه أصل ومن وجه تبع؛ بخلاف القرآن مع التوراة فإنه أصل من كل وجه بل هو مهيمن على ما بين يديه من الكتاب وإن كان موافقا للتوراة في أصول الدين وكتبه من الشرائع والله أعلم.«مجموع الفتاوى» 16/45
