Tafsir of Surah An-Nisaa 4:69

Translation of the meaning

And whoever obeys Allāh and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allāh has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim

وأخبر سبحانه أن أهل طاعته وطاعة رسوله هم المنعم عليهم، وهذا يقتضي أن غيرهم هم أهل الغضب والضلال،«الكلام على مسألة السماع» 1/12

فأخبر أن مرافقة المنعم عليهم لا تحصل إلا لمن أطاعه وأطاع رسوله، وأن ذلك هو الفضل منه سبحانه، وهو عليم أين يجعله وعند من يضعه ويخصه به.«الكلام على مسألة السماع» 1/12
