Tafsir of Surah Fussilat 41:21
﴿وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمْ عَلَيْنَا قَالُوا أَنطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against us?" They will say, "We were made to speak by Allāh, who has made everything speak; and He created you the first time, and to Him you are returned.

فالجلود أن خصت باللمس لم يدخل فيها الشم والذوق وإن قيل بل يدخل فيها عمت الجميع وإنما ميزت عن اللمس لاختصاصها ببعض الأعضاء وبنوع من المدركات وهو الطعوم والروائح«الرد على المنطقيين» 1/97
