Tafsir of Surah Al-Jaathiya 45:21
﴿أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَاءً مَّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death? Evil is that which they judge [i.e., assume].

فإن هذا استفهام إنكار على من حسب أنه يسوي بين هؤلاء وهؤلاء؛ فبين أن هذا الحساب باطل، وأن التسوية ممتنعة في حقه«النبوات» 2/918Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
فأنكر سبحانه هذا الحسبان إنكار منبه للعقل على قبحه، وأنه حكم سيئ، والحاكم به مسيء ظالم«مدارج السالكين بين منازل إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين» 1/253
