Tafsir of Surah Al-A'raaf 7:113
﴿وَجَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ قَالُوا إِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغَالِبِينَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, "Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant."

وهذان هما اللذان وعدهما فرعون للسحرة إن غلبوا موسى، فقالوا له: {إن لنا لأجرا إن كنا نحن الغالبين قال نعم وإنكم لمن المقربين} [الأعراف: 113] ،«مدارج السالكين بين منازل إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين» 2/75
