فهذا المستثنى من الأمر هو القليل المذكور في تلك السور وهو قليل بالنسبة إلى مجموع الليل والنهار فإنهم إذا هجعوا ثلثه أو نصفه أو ثلثاه فهذا قليل بالنسبة إلى ما لم يهجعوه من الليل والنهار وسواء ناموا بالنهار أو لم يناموا.«مجموع الفتاوى» 23/85
