Tafsir of Surah At-Tawba 9:72
﴿وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ﴾
Translation of the meaning
Allāh has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allāh is greater. It is that which is the great attainment.

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
فأيسر يسير من رضوانه أكبر من الجنان وما فيها من ذلك. كما قال تعالى: {ورضوان من الله أكبر} [التوبة: 72] . وأتى به منكرا في سياق الإثبات؛ أي: أي شيء كان من رضاه عن عبده: فهو أكبر من الجنة.«مدارج السالكين بين منازل إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين» 2/79
