Tafsir of Surah Al-Baqara 2:148
﴿وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُوا يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
Translation of the meaning
For each [religious following] is a [prayer] direction toward which it faces. So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, Allāh will bring you forth [for judgement] all together. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.

وقوله: (موليها) ; أي متوليها أو مستقبلها«الجواب الصحيح لمن بدل دين المسيح» 4/415فأخبر أن لكل أمة وجهة ولم يقل جعلنا لكل أمة وجهة بل قد يكون هم ابتدعوها كما ابتدعت النصارى وجهة المشرق بخلاف ما ذكره في الشرع والمناهج؛«مجموع الفتاوى» 19/112
