Tafsir of Surah Al-Baqara 2:261
﴿مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ﴾
Translation of the meaning
The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allāh is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allāh multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allāh is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

وهذه الآية كالتفسير والبيان لمقدار الأضعاف التى يضاعفها للمقرض«طريق الهجرتين وباب السعادتين» 1/364شبه سبحانه نفقة المنفق في سبيله، سواء كان المراد به الجهاد أو جميع سبل الخير من كل بر، بمن بذر بذرا فأنبت«إعلام الموقعين عن رب العالمين» 1/141
