Tafsir of Surah Al-Ankaboot 29:13
﴿وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ وَلَيُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
But they will surely carry their [own] burdens and [other] burdens along with their burdens, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah
فأخبر أن أئمة الضلال لا يحملون من خطايا الأتباع شيئا«مجموع الفتاوى» 10/725وأخبر أنهم يحملون أثقالهم وهي أوزار الأتباع من غير أن ينقص من أوزار الأتباع شيء؛ لأن إرادتهم كانت جازمة بذلك وفعلوا مقدورهم فصار لهم جزاء كل عامل؛ لأن الجزاء على العمل يستحق مع الإرادة الجازمة وفعل المقدور منه.«مجموع الفتاوى» 10/725
