Tafsir of Surah Al-Ankaboot 29:31

Translation of the meaning

And when Our messengers [i.e., angels] came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that [i.e., Lot's] city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers."

فهذه الآيات: تقتضي أن الهلاك استحالة وفساد في الشيء الموجود كما سنبينه لا أنه يعني أنه ليس وجوده من نفسه إذ جميع المخلوقات تشترك في هذا.«مجموع الفتاوى» 2/29
