Tafsir of Surah Ar-Room 30:29
﴿بَلِ اتَّبَعَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَهْوَاءَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَمَن يَهْدِي مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللَّهُ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allāh has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.

واتباع الأهواء في الديانات أعظم من اتباع الأهواء في الشهوات، فإن الأول حال الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب والمشركين؛«الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر» 1/16Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
