Tafsir of Surah An-Nisaa 4:36

Translation of the meaning

Worship Allāh and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allāh does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful,

فجعل سبحانه حق ذي القربى يلي حق الوالدين«زاد المعاد في هدي خير العباد» 5/484

وأمر تعالى بالإحسان إلى ذي القربى. ومن أعظم الإساءة أن يراه يموت جوعا وعريا وهو قادر على سد خلته وستر عورته، ولا يطعمه لقمة ولا يستر له عورة إلا بأن يقرضه ذلك في ذمته،«زاد المعاد في هدي خير العباد» 5/484
