Tafsir of Surah Al-Fath 48:4
﴿هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا﴾
Translation of the meaning
It is He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith. And to Allāh belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and ever is Allāh Knowing and Wise.

وهذه نزلت لما رجع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأصحابه من الحديبية«مجموع الفتاوى» 7/229فجعل السكينة موجبة لزيادة الإيمان. والسكينة طمأنينة في القلب غير علم القلب وتصديقه«مجموع الفتاوى» 7/229Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
فذكر نعمته عليهم بالجنود الخارجة عنهم والجنود الداخلة فيهم، وهي السكينة عند القلق والاضطراب«إعلام الموقعين عن رب العالمين» 4/154
