Tafsir of Surah Al-An'aam 6:26
﴿وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْأَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَإِن يُهْلِكُونَ إِلَّا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And they prevent [others] from him and are [themselves] remote from him. And they do not destroy except themselves, but they perceive [it] not.

أخبر أنهم يهلكون أنفسهم بنهيهم عن الرسول ونأيهم عنه«مجموع الفتاوى» 2/31ومعلوم أن من نأى عن اتباع الرسول ونهى غيره عنه - وهو الكافر - فإن هلاكه بكفره هو حصول العذاب المكروه له دون النعيم المقصود.«مجموع الفتاوى» 2/31
