Tafsir of Surah Al-A'raaf 7:178
﴿مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِي وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
Whoever Allāh guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - it is those who are the losers.

وإن الله وفق المؤمنين لطاعته، ولطف بهم ونظر لهم وأصلحهم وهداهم، وأضل الكافرين ولم يهدهم ولم يلطف بهم بالإيمان كما زعم أهل الزيغ والطغيان، ولو لطف لهم وأصلحهم كانوا صالحين، ولو هداهم كانوا مهتدين«التسعينية» 3/1016
