Tafsir of Surah Qaaf 50:19
﴿وَجَاءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.

أي جاءت بما بعد الموت من ثواب وعقاب«مجموع الفتاوى» 4/265ثم قال بعد ذلك: {ونفخ في الصور ذلك يوم الوعيد} فذكر القيامتين: الصغرى والكبرى«مجموع الفتاوى» 4/265وقوله: {ذلك ما كنت منه تحيد} فالإنسان وإن كره الموت فهو يعلم أنه تلاقيه ملائكته«مجموع الفتاوى» 4/265
