Tafsir of Surah Al-A'raaf 7:26
﴿يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قَدْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَارِي سَوْآتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا وَلِبَاسُ التَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. That is from the signs of Allāh that perhaps they will remember.

ردا على ما كانوا عليه في الجاهلية من تحريم الطواف في الثياب«مجموع الفتاوى» 15/217فذكر اللباس في (سورة الأعراف) لفائدة الزينة وهي المعتبرة في الصلاة والطواف«مجموع الفتاوى» 15/217Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
قوله تعالى {يا بني آدم قد أنزلنا عليكم لباسا يواري سوآتكم وريشا} فهذا زينة الظاهر ثم قال {ولباس التقوى ذلك خير} فهذا زينة الباطن«روضة المحبين ونزهة المشتاقين» 1/235
