Tafsir of Surah Al-Baqara 2:42
﴿وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].

فنهى عن لبس الحق بالباطل وكتمانه ولبسه به خلطه به حتى يلتبس أحدهما بالآخر ومنه التلبيس وهو التدليس والغش الذي يكون باطنه خلاف ظاهره«الصواعق المرسلة في الرد على الجهمية والمعطلة» 3/926
