Tafsir of Surah Yunus 10:39
﴿بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُوا بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.

فالتفسير هو الإحاطة بعلمه والتأويل هو نفس ما وعدوا به«مجموع الفتاوى» 17/370فتبين أنه يمكن أن يحيط أهل العلم والإيمان بعلمه ولما يأتهم تأويله وأن الإحاطة بعلم القرآن ليست إتيان تأويله«مجموع الفتاوى» 13/283Imam Ibn al-Qayyim
