Tafsir of Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:86
﴿وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And those they invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah
فإن أحدا - ممن يدعي من دونه - لا يملك الشفاعة بحال. ولكن الله إذا أذن لهم شفعوا من غير أن يكون ذلك مملوكا لهم.«مجموع الفتاوى» 14/397What he quoted from others
